A major food distribution company in Harlow is looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver. This role offers a temp to perm opportunity with shifts starting at 04:00 and 03:30. You will drive within 65 miles of Harlow, delivering to various locations including schools and hospitals. The position includes permanent Sundays off, and training is provided. Job description

M4 Specialist are delighted to have partnered with a major food distribution company based in Harlow.

Option 1

• 04:00 - 10:00 start times
• Monday to Friday – 1 in 4 Saturdays
• 4am-10am starts with 10/11 hour day
• £20.16 per hour, £23.61 per hour on Saturdays
• Temp to perm opportunity

Option 2

• 4 days on, 4 days off rotation
• 3:30am-4am starts with 12 hour days
• £20.16 per hour, £23.61 on Saturdays
• Temp to perm opportunity in June

This position has all the benefits of a multi-drop driving role which means you'll get to avoid those long distances, break up the driving and make a difference to people in hospitals, schools, care homes, restaurants and pubs within 65 miles of Harlow plus career progression into more senior roles.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a valid HGV Class 2 licence with less than 6 points and be comfortable lifting up to 25kg as part of your day-to-day tasks. You'll also need your own transport to get to the depot due to the working hours of your shift; public transport will not be operating.
