We currently have vacancies for Band 3 Senior Health Care Support Workers to join our dedicated and caring critical care teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to children and young people. All positions involve a full rota of day, night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the clinical team with observations and treatments.
  • Assisting with personal care and ensuring the well‑being of patients.
  • Providing emotional and practical support to children, young people and their families.
  • Helping maintain a safe, clean and supportive environment.
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals in a team.

Assessment Centre

Assessment centre date will be held on Wednesday the 21st of January.

Key Requirements
  • Maths qualification at GCSE A*-C / 4-9 or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
  • English qualification at GCSE A*-C / 4-9 or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Level 3 qualification (or higher) in any subject.
  • Acute caring experience in an acute healthcare or social care setting.
  • Experience or a passion for working with children and young people.

If you do not have previous acute care experience, we offer a 12‑week Band 2 to Band 3 Trainee Programme. This programme will equip you with the necessary skills and experience to successfully transition into the Band 3 role. Please indicate on your application if you are interested in this programme.

You will need to provide evidence of your educational qualification before your invitation to interview is confirmed.
