A leading charitable healthcare provider is seeking an Events Healthcare Professional - Paramedic to provide clinical care at various events in Leeds, UK. This role involves delivering high-quality pre-hospital care, managing acutely unwell patients, and working with a team of volunteers and emergency services. Applicants must be registered paramedics with relevant recent experience. The role offers flexible shifts mainly during sociable hours.
Role: Events Healthcare Professional - Paramedic (casual). St John Ambulance provide First Aid and Medical Provision to thousands of events each year. You will be providing clinical care to patients presenting to St John Ambulance across our exciting and varied events portfolio. Our Event Healthcare Professionals will be providing pre-hospital care at a large range of exciting events such as music festivals, motoring, equestrian & sports events. You will be supported with modern equipment and vehicles, working alongside our volunteers and other employed St John people. This role will primarily involve shifts during sociable hours although some may be long in duration. You will be working alongside a blended team of SJA volunteers, event organisers and other uniformed emergency services at events demonstrating clinical leadership and support. It is essential that you have experience in managing acutely unwell patients in the emergency setting, whether that be in an emergency department or pre-hospital. Willing to accept work at various event deployments on a casual basis as advertised by the Events Team to provide care to patients.
