Healthcare Partnership Manager - Rare Disease - South UK

As a Healthcare Partnership Manager, you will be accountable for your own geographical location and are responsible for securing local access to launch medicines and delivering subsequent uptake in line with expectations. You will be accountable for producing, executing and monitoring a cross-functional territory account plan and providing a positive customer experience across multiple engagement channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute a strategically aligned territory account plan in collaboration with internal stakeholders that directs activities in key accounts through individual contribution and cross-functional collaboration
  • Secure local access to align with NICE recommendation, drive initial uptake and maintain appropriate clinical positioning and advocacy for assigned product(s) in target accounts
  • Remove any barriers that hinder appropriate clinical uptake
  • Pro-actively identify and drive appropriate business opportunities that will be of mutual benefit for patients, the NHS and company, using a thorough understanding of the local health economy
  • Engage specialist physicians with clinical credibility, confidently communicating trial data and real-world evidence to differentiate product value
  • Key account management: engage a bespoke group of target Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and other relevant decision makers, interacting with both payer and clinical stakeholders
  • Deliver agreed project objectives and KPIs
  • These could include but not restricted to account activation, sales, multichannel engagement, formularies, shared care guidelines, etc.
  • Channel Orchestrator - use a broad range of channels with clear understanding of how and when to use each to orchestrate across the customer journey
  • Capturing consent permissions and customer preferences to maximise digital engagement with identified key customer group

Candidate Specification:

  • Previous specialty launch experience
  • Previous experience of working with non-prescribing stakeholders, including those at a population-based decision-making level
  • Networking, influencing, facilitating, negotiating and communication skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate high level scientific data
  • Enthusiasm to utilise digital platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Understanding of the NHS, including specialised commissioning and patient pathways
  • Strategic thinker - able to see the bigger picture
  • Previous rare disease and/or immunology experience
