Job Title: Healthcare Assistant ( Nursing and Residential Homes)

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire

Contract: Full Time & Part time Agency/Bank

Salary: £11 – £16 per hour

OneCall24 is a leading healthcare staffing solution, providing highly qualified, experienced medical professionals to both the NHS and Private sector for permanent, contract and temporary positions, specialising in nursing and residential homes across the UK, providing a true 24hr service.

We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants in the Hertfordshire area, for a large number of private Nursing & Residential Homes to fulfil ongoing assignments for Days, Nights and weekend duties.

Responsibilities

• Wash and dress patients
• Cleaning
• Communicating with relatives, residents and other members of staff
• Serve meals and assist in feeding
• Moving & positioning
• Toileting

Requirements

To be considered:

• 6 months Healthcare Assistant experience in the UK in the last 2 years
• Drivers license ( Neg )
• 2x Covid19 vaccination
• Experience in using a hoist
• UK citizen OR Right To Work

Additional Role Preferences

• A valid DBS.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
• 6 months experience as a nurse in the last 2 years
• Driver’s Licence and own car (preferred)
• Valid practical manual handling certificate (preferred)
