Healthcare Assistant - End of Life Urgent Care Service (EOLUCS)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, well-motivated individual who is interested in end-of-life care.

Main duties of the job

St Luke's is delivering on its vision of a Hospice without Walls with the support of its End-of-Life Urgent Care Team. As a Healthcare Assistant for the End-of-Life Urgent Care Service you will assist in supporting community-based end of life (EOL) patients in meeting their preferred place of care/death and prevent inappropriate admission to secondary care.

While this role can be busy and challenging, there is great reward in helping make a real difference at the end of a person\'s life by caring for them in their own home and preferred place of care/death.
