A healthcare provider in Uxbridge is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support the nursing team, working 20-25 hours per week. Responsibilities include assisting in treatment, health promotion, and patient education. We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team for 20-25 hours per week, some flexibility with days and times.
Working under the supervision of the practice nurses and in accordance with practice guidelines and protocols the healthcare assistant will work as part of the practice multidisiplinary team to deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.
We are a 10,500 patient practice situated in the leafy suburbs of South Buckinghamshire. We have a great friendly team of 2 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 2 long term Locums, 3 Physicians Associates, 4 Nurses, 1 HCA, 3 Pharmacists, 1 Social Prescriber , 1 First Contact Practitioner and 14 very supportive Admin Staff.
The Healthcare Assistant will support the practice nursing team in the delivery of nursing services working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team delivering care within the scope of their practice to the entitled patient population.
