A healthcare provider in Gloucester is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join its surgical team. This role involves supporting patient care during the perioperative phase and assisting in outpatient clinics. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Heath Care Assistant (HCA) role is to provide support to the TheatreTeam by undertaking circulating duties in the operating theatre and supportingthe patient during the perioperative phase, while delivering a high standard ofindividualised patient care under the supervision of the registered teammembers. You will communicate effectively, in an empathic way, with patientsand their relatives/carers at a particularly vulnerable part of the careepisode. The HCA will also assist in outpatient clinics.
