Job description
Who we are…

GlobalData Healthcare is a specialist information services business on a mission to help our Pharma, Biotech and Medical Devices clients decode the future, make better decisions and reach more customers. Using our unique data, expert analysis and innovative solutions we deliver intelligence for companies, government organisations and industry professionals.

We began our GlobalData journey in 2016, by combining a diverse range of specialist information services companies, with decades of trusted customer relationships and deep sector specialism.

Why join GlobalData?

GlobalData Healthcare is GlobalData’s largest division, and at a pivotal point in its growth journey. Following multiple acquisitions and having recently received transformational investment, we are in the process of being carved out from the main GlobalData business. We need curious, ambitious, courageous people to support us in achieving our vision of becoming the world’s trusted source of strategic industry intelligence.

Our big ambitions mean that life at GlobalData Healthcare is fast paced, entrepreneurial and rewarding. We recognise the collective power of our people, and it’s the collaboration of our teams that have shaped our success and will continue to do so in the future.

The role…

We are seeking Healthcare Analysts to join our expanding teams covering Immunology (e.g. Rheumatology, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Musculoskeletal Disorders, Dermatology, Respiratory Diseases) therapy area.

Our Healthcare Analysts provide key intelligence and insights, enabling our clients to make effective business decisions. From customised projects to maintaining syndicated datasets, you’ll deliver trusted analysis across pharmaceuticals, clinical trials, and therapeutic pipelines.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine scientific expertise with commercial insight, contributing to high-quality market intelligence used by top pharmaceutical and healthcare companies worldwide.

What you’ll be doing…

Contribute to the scope and direction of high-quality market and disease analysis deliverables.

Support the development of our pharmaceutical syndicated research platform.

Write in-depth market research reports and timely articles on current industry events.

Analyse disease markets from a strategic perspective, assessing and forecasting opportunities for agents in clinical development.

Conduct secondary research and primary market research (interviews and surveys with KOLs, industry experts, and physicians).

Represent GlobalData at client presentations, conferences, and with media.

Interact directly with pharmaceutical clients, addressing enquiries and contributing to business development as a therapy-area expert.

What we’re looking for…

Advanced degree in Life Sciences (MSc, MPharm, MPH, PharmD, PhD, MD or related field).

Ability to learn quickly and understand complex concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on producing high-quality analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong secondary research skills (familiarity with scientific literature and internet searches).

Confidence working with data and numbers.

Prior experience in healthcare industry research or publishing is desirable but not essential.

Research or work experience in Immunology would be an advantage.

In addition to a rewarding career, we support our GlobalData Healthcare colleagues with a range of benefits across health, finances, fitness, travel, tech and more. To find out more about the roles and benefits on offer in your region, visit (url removed)
