The Health & Wellbeing Coordinator role at Knowle Park Nursing Home in Cranleigh, Surrey, is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the residents. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging activities and programs that promote the overall well-being and quality of life for the home's 41 residents. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for enhancing the physical, mental, and social health of the older adults in your care.

Main duties of the job

As the Health & Wellbeing Coordinator, you will work closely with the nursing and care teams to create and implement a comprehensive program of activities and events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of the residents. This may include organizing group exercises, arts and crafts sessions, music therapy, outings, and other recreational pursuits. You will also be responsible for monitoring the residents' participation and engagement, and adjusting the program as needed to ensure maximum benefit. Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to person-centered care are essential for this role.
