Health & Safety Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Health & Safety Manager to join a fantastic manufacturing company in Eastleigh.

Introduction

The Health & Safety Manager will develop and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental programs and coordinate activities associated with the HS&E policies and procedures on site.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor programs and procedures to ensure total compliance with all laws and regulations and support with development of HSE programmes as required.
  • Maintain external HSE accreditation certification and interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accreditation status.
  • Assist in communicating hazard control information and evaluate effectiveness of the controls.
  • Conduct safety audits throughout the facility, report results, and follow up to ensure discrepancies are corrected.
  • Act as a HSE contact in dealing with regulatory agencies, and train management to understand HSE regulations and standards.
  • Develop training materials and conduct HSE training, including new hire orientation.
