An independent charitable organisation in the UK is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee the safe running of activities. The successful candidate will need a NEBOSH General Certificate and extensive experience in H&S coordination. The role offers flexibility as it is home based, with travel throughout the county. We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to be responsible for ensuring the safe running of activities across the organisation and the sites from which it operates. The successful candidate should hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification and have proven experience in H&S co-ordination/management. The H&S Manager will be expected to have in depth knowledge of H&S regulations and best practise to enable them to support the practical implementation and delivery of H&S legislation and policy, monitor and review the company's risk control and provide specialist advice on H&S matters across the organisation.
Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is an independent charitable organisation which exists to improve the quality of life for older people in the county.
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Location: Home based. Travel will be required throughout the county, including working from our Head Office in Chatteris.
