Job description
Overview

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to be responsible for ensuring the safe running of activities across the organisation and the sites from which it operates. The successful candidate should hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification and have proven experience in H&S co-ordination/management. The H&S Manager will be expected to have in depth knowledge of H&S regulations and best practise to enable them to support the practical implementation and delivery of H&S legislation and policy, monitor and review the company's risk control and provide specialist advice on H&S matters across the organisation.

Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is an independent charitable organisation which exists to improve the quality of life for older people in the county.

Hours, location and travel

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Location: Home based. Travel will be required throughout the county, including working from our Head Office in Chatteris.
