Bury Council is seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead the development and delivery of a best-in-class health and safety culture across the organisation. This is a strategic and operational leadership role, responsible for ensuring robust governance, compliance, and continuous improvement in all aspects of health and safety management.
You will act as the Council’s professional lead for health and safety, playing a pivotal role in their 10 year ‘Let’s do it!’ Strategy. Shaping policy, driving behavioural change, and supporting services to deliver safe and healthy environments for staff, residents, and visitors.

This is a permanent position paying £50,269 – £51,356 depending on experience. You’ll be based at our Bury campus with flexible working arrangements.
