Overview

INFORM3 Recruitment is recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for a busy civils client. Location: Belfast. Sector: Civil.

INFORM3 are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to contribute to Health & Safety coordination across the organisation and to support and develop policies to reduce potential risks. The successful candidate will be NEBOSH Certified with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction sector.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Develop all Health and Safety plans to align with current legislation
  • Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
  • Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors
  • Ensure that regular site visits and inspections are completed and the relevant paperwork is completed
  • Ensure that all accidents/incidents are dealt with appropriately and plans are made to avoid these situations
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors regarding Health & Safety processes within the company
  • Prepare and coordinate training for all employees
  • Attend meetings with Senior Management
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Maintain extremely high standards throughout the company at all times
Specification / Qualifications
  • Health and Safety Degree or Qualification
  • 5 years plus experience in a similar position
  • Able to manage a Health & Safety team
  • Excellent communicator
  • NEBOSH Certification
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full driving licence
