Job summary

A professional provider of Health & Safety services is seeking a Health & Safety Consultant to conduct risk assessments and provide ongoing support to clients across the Midlands and Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH certification and experience in a consultancy setting. Competitive salary between £30k - £45k plus training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH general certificate is required.
  • Grad IOSH / CMIOSH status is beneficial.
  • Experience in client-facing consultancy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out high quality Health & Safety risk assessments.
  • Auditing staff on site and managing Health & Safety aspects.
  • Providing comprehensive reports and technical advice to clients.
  • Managing and developing the client base.
  • Undertaking fire risk assessments.
  • Delivering training courses when required.
  • Liaising with clients via various communication methods.

Skills

NEBOSH general certificate (minimum)

A professional and independent provider of Health & Safety services currently has an open position for a Health & Safety Consultant to join their dynamic team. Traveling across the Midlands / Yorkshire area, you will carry out H&S risk assessments, implement management processes, and work closely with clients to provide ongoing technical advice and support. For the right candidate, the client can offer support in gaining further industry qualifications.

  • Carrying out high quality Health & Safety risk assessments to a mixed portfolio of sites
  • Auditing staff on site and dealing with all aspects of Health & Safety
  • Providing clients with comprehensive reports and following up with technical advice, based on site audits and inspections
  • Continuing to manage and develop the company’s client base
  • Undertaking fire risk assessments (type 1/3)
  • Delivering training courses when required
  • Liaising with clients via phone / email / face-to-face
