Location : UK Hybrid (34 days on-site per week)

Salary : Circa £40,000 (dependent on experience)

Department : Facilities Management

Security Clearance : British Citizen (BPSS required)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Health & Safety professional to join our Facilities Management team as a Contractor Compliance & CDM Officer . You will work closely with the management team to ensure all projects and contractor operations are delivered safely and in compliance with legislation and company standards.

This role involves engaging with internal teams and external contractors, supporting a wide range of works, and fostering strong professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct focused Health & Safety inspections and ensure timely close-out of actions
  • Collate and analyse inspection data, producing detailed reports and insights
  • Provide practical solutions to health and safety challenges and support continuous improvement
  • Advise and influence teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Carry out incident investigations and prepare analytical reports
  • Promote best practice and a proactive safety culture across all FM works and projects
  • Plan and manage your own workload while maintaining regular engagement across multiple sites
Essential Requirements
  • NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Experience in construction or facilities environments
  • Strong understanding of auditing processes
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced setting
Desirable Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6 preferred)
  • CSCS Card
  • Auditing qualification (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001)
