As a Health, Safety and Sustainability Coordinator at Britannic Explorer, a Belmond Train, you are part of a team responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring health, safety and sustainability programmes. In this role, you will play a critical part in fostering a culture of environmental responsibility among staff and guests. Primary Responsibilities Include
  • Developing and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and national regulations.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and best practices.
  • Performing safety audits, documenting findings from risk assessments and tracking corrective actions.
  • Providing training and support to staff on health and safety practices and protocols.
  • Assisting in the development of sustainability initiatives and programs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Engaging staff and guests in sustainability efforts through training, awareness campaigns and community outreach programmes.
Requirements
What You Bring
  • Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience in a similar role advantageous.
  • Relevant management or field/industry-related diploma or degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative.
  • Exceptional communication, administrative and time-management skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office - data entry experience helpful.
