Job summary

A renowned food manufacturer in Manchester seeks an experienced HSE Manager to ensure compliance with food safety and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of management experience and NEBOSH qualifications, preferably within the food and drink manufacturing sector. This is a site-based role aimed at promoting health and safety standards throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in H&S/EHS/SHE.
• Experience in food and drink manufacturing is preferred.
• FMCG experience can also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety and statutory requirements.
• Advise the site management team on H&S matters.
• Develop H&S policies and promote H&S throughout the site.

Overview

Are you an experienced H&S/EHS/SHE Manager with over 5 years operating at management level? Ideally looking for someone with food and drink manufacturing experience; FMCG can be considered. You will need to be NEBOSH qualified and have an understanding of ISO 14001. We have a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and renowned food manufacturer within the industry, who are looking for an HSE Manager to join the team. The company is a multi-site organisation, but this position will be site based only.

Responsibilities

• Ensure standards, food safety, quality etc. are adhered to, and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Work with and advise the site management team.
• Promote H&S down through the site and develop policies and procedures.

Qualifications and skills

• Management experience; hands-on individual who focuses on people development and process improvements.
• NEBOSH qualification; understanding of ISO 14001.
• Experience in food and drink manufacturing preferred; FMCG considered.
