A local government authority is looking for a Corporate Health and Safety Advisor in Kidderminster. This varied role involves providing professional advice on health and safety, developing management systems, and coordinating training. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in an advisory position, excellent communication skills, and preferably a NEBOSH Diploma. A full UK driving license is required. This position promotes a positive health and safety culture across the council.
This is a varied role, providing professional advice and coordination across all aspects of health, safety, fire and welfare throughout the Council. You will act as the Council’s competent person under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and work closely with services, managers, trade union representatives and senior leaders to promote a positive and practical health and safety culture.
