What does this Health Care Assistant job involve?
  • Hours of Work: 36 or 48 Hours Per Week - Shifts: 08:00 - 20:00 / 20:00 - 08:00
  • Provide compassionate, person-centred care by supporting each resident with their physical and personal needs, such as washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and feeding, always ensuring comfort and dignity.
  • Actively promote each resident’s independence, privacy, and rights, treating everyone with the utmost respect and empathy.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining a clean and comfortable environment by assisting with tasks like bed-making, laundry, and general housekeeping.
  • Help prepare and serve meals, following hygiene and safety standards to ensure residents enjoy nutritious and safe food.
  • Engage in ongoing training, staff meetings, and development opportunities to continuously improve the quality of care provided.
  • Contribute to the creation and review of individual care plans, ensuring they reflect each resident’s unique needs and preferences.
