Key Responsibilities
  • Plan schemes of work and lesson materials that align with curriculum requirements and professional standards
  • Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and practical tasks, ensuring feedback is constructive and timely
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Develop and update curriculum content to reflect current practices in health and social care
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one
  • Ability to provide two professional references
