Location: Harrow Weald, Northwest London
Salary: £32,455 – £45,260 per annum (including London Weighting)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time | Teacher Training Provided

Clarus Education is pleased to support a leading Further Education College in Northwest London in recruiting a Health and Social Care Lecturer specialising in Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Nurse seeking to transition into a rewarding teaching role, shaping future professionals in the health and social care sector.

The Role

  • You will join a vibrant and successful Health and Social Care department, delivering teaching across:
  • Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health
  • BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2 and 3

Responsibilities

Utilising your clinical knowledge and experience, you will inspire and prepare learners (mainly aged 16–19) for further education and careers within health and social care. Full support is offered for those without a Level 5 FE teaching qualification to achieve this.

Person Specification

  • Degree in Nursing (essential)
  • Current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
  • Recent or current clinical experience in health and/or social care
  • Some teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred
  • Level 5 teaching qualification (DET, PGCE or equivalent) desirable or willingness to work towards supported by the college
  • Sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates
