Eden Brown are looking for a passionate and qualified Health and Social Care Lecturer to join a leading further education college in Merseyside on a full-time, temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students on Year 1 & 2 T-Level courses and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications.

The Role

As a Temporary Health and Social Care Lecturer, you will teach Year 1 & 2 T-Level students and Level 2 Health and Social Care students. You will deliver engaging lessons, provide academic support, and ensure that students are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their future careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across T-Level and Level 2 Health and Social Care courses.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, practical assessments, and exams.
  • Provide feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
  • Monitor and report on student performance and progress.
  • Ensure that all teaching materials and lessons are up-to-date and relevant.
  • Provide pastoral support where needed, encouraging students' academic and personal development.
Essential Criteria
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
  • A degree or professional qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Previous experience in teaching Health and Social Care at FE level, including T-Level and Level 2 courses.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time‑management skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and student success.
  • Experience using digital learning tools and online platforms.

A DBS is required for this role.
