Health and Safety Specialist / Up to £300 per day (Umbrella rate) / London / Contract

Overview: A large non-for-profit organisation are currently seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to join their team to promote best practice and promote excellent health and safety standards across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience for a globally recognised organisation and grow your Health and Safety experience.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Work with managers across the organisation to ensure that great health and safety standards are being followed
  • Investigating incidents and reporting
  • Implement H&S strategies across the organisation and policies
  • Complete audits across the organisation and present finding
  • Ensure the business is following regulations and complying
  • Reporting on performance to senior level stakeholders
  • Managing cost control
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a Health and Safety Specialist positions
  • Experience managing Health and Safety within public spaces
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualified
