Lighthouse Risk Services LLP is a national firm of Health & Safety and Employment Law consultants with offices in Leeds. We are an eminent organization bringing a positive approach to the areas of Health and Safety and Employment Law. Our services include Fire Risk Assessments, Asbestos Surveys, CDM, and Health & Safety Training.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Health and Safety Consultant/Fire Risk Assessor to support our growing business.

Your main duties will include:

  1. Conducting Health & Safety Audits and Reviews of Safe Working Practices
  2. Carrying out Fire Risk Assessments across various properties
  3. Performing Independent Contract Site Inspections
  4. Assisting with the formulation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  5. Preparing Policy Documentation
  6. Conducting Safety Training Courses
  7. Providing General Support and Competent Advice to clients
  8. Assisting with SSIP Accreditation Applications and Tender Documentation
  9. Undertaking Specialist Surveys and Assessments (qualification dependent)

The ideal candidate should hold the NEBOSH General/Fire Certificate (or equivalent). Membership in IOSH or IFE would be advantageous, as would the P402 certificate in Asbestos Surveying. Previous experience in providing H&S consultancy and Fire Risk Assessment services in a customer-facing environment is desirable.

This role is based remotely, with most work conducted out of the office servicing clients nationwide, which may involve occasional overnight stays.

A full driving license is essential due to travel requirements.
