Lighthouse Risk Services LLP is a national firm of Health & Safety and Employment Law consultants with offices in Leeds. We are an eminent organisation bringing a positive approach to Health and Safety and Employment Law. Our services include Fire Risk Assessments, Asbestos Surveys, CDM, & Health & Safety Training.

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Health and Safety Consultant/Fire Risk Assessor to support our growing business.

Your main duties will include:

  1. Conducting Health & Safety Audits and Reviews of Safe Working Practices
  2. Performing Fire Risk Assessments across various properties
  3. Carrying out Independent Contract Site Inspections
  4. Assisting with the formulation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  5. Preparing Policy Documentation
  6. Conducting Safety Training Courses
  7. Providing support and advice to clients
  8. Assisting with SSIP Accreditation Applications and Tender Documentation
  9. Undertaking Specialist Surveys and assessments (qualification dependent)

The ideal candidate should hold the NEBOSH General/Fire Certificate (or equivalent). Membership in IOSH/IFE and the P402 asbestos surveying certificate are desirable. Previous experience in providing H&S consultancy and Fire risk assessment services in a customer-facing environment is also preferred.

This role is home-based, with travel across the country to service clients, including occasional overnight stays. A full driving license is required.
