Job summary

A local educational institution in Manchester seeks a dynamic Head of Year to provide exceptional pastoral support for students. The ideal candidate will have high expectations of behaviour, a commitment to driving standards, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary range of £33,143 to £36,363, adjusted pro-rata. The role commences after pre-employment checks are complete.

Salary:Grade 6, points 21 to 25 - £33,143 to £36,363 Pro‑rata to actual salary estimates £28,509.08 - £31,278.87

About the Candidate

The Governors wish to appoint a dynamic Head of Year to provide exceptional pastoral support for all students in their year group, taking a strategic lead in promoting outstanding behaviour, attendance and progress playing a key role in the next phase of our development from a Good to Outstanding School.

  • Has the ability to build good relationships with all students and parents.
