Job summary

A design and build consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Workshop to oversee day-to-day operations and manage logistics. Job description

A Studio Based role require a Head of Workshop leader to add to their team, for a Design and Build and manufacturing consultancy that are creators of world-class scenic construction in the world of Events, whereby they craft amazing sets, props, and other great designs out of their workshop.

What you’ll do
  • Oversee day-to-day workshop operations, scheduling, and resource planning
  • Coordinate with Carpentry, Scenic, Metalwork, and Project teams to keep projects on track
  • Manage logistics, including vans/trucks, storage, and material flow
  • Lead and support the Workshop Lead, Facilities & Safety Coordinator, CNC Operator, and Van Driver
  • Maintain high standards through QC checks, pre-fits, and safe working practices
  • Ensure the workshop and yard remain safe, organised, and compliant
