Vacancy Description Ready to orchestrate game-changing growth on a global stage?

If you’re a visionary sales leader with a proven playbook in HVAC, heat transfer, and thermal engineering coupled with a talent for building unstoppable teams, this is your cue to elevate your impact. Imagine steering a specialist squad through high-stakes markets, where your strategic acumen, deep relationships, and innovative edge don’t just drive revenue, they redefine industry standards.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out:

You’re not stepping into a cog in the machine. You’re joining a 100+year-old global pioneer in heat transfer excellence, powering mission-critical solutions for blue-chip giants in:

  • Food & Beverage
  • Transport
  • HVAC & Refrigeration
  • Energy & Data Centres
  • Chemical, Oil & Gas
  • Marine Applications

This business doesn’t chase transactions; they forge enduring partnerships through bespoke engineering, cutting‑edge tech, and lifecycle value that slashes energy costs and boosts sustainability. Now, they are empowering a Head of Sales to ignite commercial acceleration across the UK, Ireland, and Scandics, blending hands‑on deal‑making with bold team leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Architect and deploy a powerhouse ‘go-to-market’ strategy for F&B and Transport, harnessing the full portfolio of heating and cooling solutions for explosive revenue growth
  • Cultivate alliances with pivotal stakeholders: service providers, consultants, specifiers, and end‑users, turning insights into unbeatable bids
  • Mentor and galvanise a multinational sales team, embedding proven sales techniques and methodologies to unlock economic buyers and supercharge pipeline velocity
  • Lead from the front: Hunt marquee accounts, nurture repeat business, and close high‑value deals while modelling CRM mastery for data‑driven decisions
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement, negotiating C‑suite proposals that deliver energy‑efficient, zero‑net solutions amid evolving regs
  • Foster a high‑trust ecosystem: Collaborate cross‑functionally, handle performance reviews/grievances with empathy, and report sharp EBIT/Sales/OI metrics to exec leadership
  • Balance strategic oversight with tactical execution, shaping KPIs, resolving on‑site challenges, and promoting total lifecycle excellence to outpace rivals
What We’re Looking For:
  • Battle-tested sales leadership: Track record of scaling revenues and teams in mechanical engineering/heat transfer, with HVAC expertise in plate heat exchangers, chillers, AHUs, heat pumps, adiabatic/evaporative cooling, free cooling, blast chillers, and beyond
  • Market mastery: Robust networks across key sectors (F&B/transport a plus, not essential)—end‑users, consultants, contractors, specifiers with deep insight into stakeholder dynamics, sustainability drivers, and procurement cycles
  • Strategic hunter with a collaborative core: Proactive, commercially sharp, and adept at influencing from site engineers to boards; thrives on 50% travel for face‑to‑face wins
  • Technical and tactical prowess: Degree-level insight into heat transfer applications; proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel for analytics, PowerPoint for pitches) and CRM tools for pipeline precision
  • Leadership DNA: Positive, self‑motivated team builder with ‘can‑do’ urgency, integrity, and the organisational savvy to juggle deadlines, multi‑project chaos, and talent development
  • Personal edge: Enthusiastic self‑starter who builds rapport fast, thinks holistically about business impact, and drives continuous improvement for margin gains

This isn’t just a role, it’s a launchpad to legacy‑building in a sector hungry for bold visionaries. If you’re primed to strategise relentlessly, lead inspirationally, and deliver transformative results, let’s connect for a confidential conversation.

Your bigger stage awaits.
