An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Head of Risk to lead the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide risk management framework, with a strong emphasis on financial and investment risk. This is a pivotal role within a newly established organisation, requiring the successful individual to build risk capability from the ground up and ensure robust governance across all investment activities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Design and implement a comprehensive risk management framework aligned with the organisations strategic objectives and mandate.
• Define and maintain risk appetite statements in collaboration with senior leadership and governing bodies.
• Build internal risk capability and oversee external advisory relationships.

Financial & Investment Risk

• Lead the identification and monitoring of credit, market, liquidity, and counterparty risks.
• Oversee risk-adjusted performance analysis across a broad range of investment products, including equity, infrastructure, guarantees, loans, and grants.
• Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
