Looking to bring your sales experience to a leadership role? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to join our established Residential office based in the heart of Wandsworth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and maintain the efficient running of the Wandsworth Residential Sales office. Additionally, you will drive the continued development of Carter Jonas within the community, lead the generation of new business opportunities for the office, expand our client database, and foster the growth of the sales team in Wandsworth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

Main tasks:

  • Generate new instructions and manage your portfolio to exceed agreed targets
  • Grow market share and drive the business forward to increase income and profitability
  • Line management of the Wandsworth Sales team, providing leadership and review of performance regularly
  • Develop Carter Jonas’ presence within the community and oversee local marketing initiatives
  • Adhere to the Residential Sales Standard Operating Procedures and maintain high standards of compliance and record keeping across our systems
  • Chair a daily morning meeting to review previous day’s activity, identify any new business opportunities and set daily tasks
  • Deliver a consistently high level of service to clients, maintaining Carter Jonas’ reputation for professionalism and integrity
  • Collaborate with other Carter Jonas offices and divisions to maximise cross-selling opportunities, cross referrals and joint instructions
  • Attend relevant meetings and training courses
  • Be a positive influence leading the team helping to maintain a mutually supportive and team orientated environment
  • Other reasonable duties that may be required

What will it take to be successful?

We are seeking someone with a proven track record in Residential Sales. You will be an excellent team builder who is skilled at maximising cross selling opportunities. The Head of Sales will be a strong negotiator with great interpersonal and communication skills, who has the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be IT literate and comfortable working with databases and relevant software.
