Head of Client Projects (Events & Experiential)

Our new Head of Client Projects role will bring drive, passion and a commitment to delivering high-quality live experiences. You’ll come from a live events project management background, with experience delivering complex brand activations or large-scale conferences, events or exhibitions.

This role is all about owning delivery, setting standards and leading the project team, and ensuring client programmes are delivered on time, on budget and to exceptional quality, with strong commercial and operational rigour.

The opportunity

You’ll lead and develop a high-performing Client Project team, acting as the senior escalation point for delivery and client challenges reporting into the Client Services Director. Working closely with Operations, Creative, Production and Finance, you’ll ensure truly joined-up delivery across all functions.

This is a hands‑on senior management role with accountability for:

  • The planning, execution and delivery of all client projects and events
  • Accountability of delivery of own assigned event programmes / projects
  • Setting delivery standards, ways of working and governance for the team
  • Building team capability, performance and capacity planning
  • Owning project planning, timelines, risk management and sign-off
  • Budget ownership, forecasting, cost control and reconciliation
  • Reporting on delivery performance, KPIs and future demand
About you

You’re a confident, decisive team leader with strong project management instincts and commercial awareness. You’re calm under pressure, naturally collaborative, and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

You’ll bring:
  • Senior project leadership experience in a fast-paced project management, events or experiential environment
  • A proven track record of leading and developing project teams
  • Strong financial and commercial capability across complex programmes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working closely with operations, logistics or production teams
  • Experience in experiential marketing, live events or automotive programmes is highly desirable.
Practical details
  • Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
  • Office base: Bordon, Hampshire (with flexibility)
  • Full driving licence required
  • Flexibility to support live events, including occasional evenings and weekends
