A growing tech company in the beauty industry seeks a Head of Product Marketing to establish global positioning and messaging for their products. This role requires a seasoned leader with over 10 years of experience, particularly in building and inspiring high-performing teams. You will engage directly with customers to drive clarity in storytelling and elevate the overall marketing efforts. The position allows for flexibility, including offering remote work options to cater to the team's needs.
Phorest powers 11,000 hair and beauty salons using our software across the globe. Our aim is to capture 25% of the market globally – that’s one million salons and a billion-dollar company.
We are growing and would like to add a new member to our team. You will join a group of highly motivated individuals, to help us grow Phorest faster.
At Phorest, the Head of Product Marketing plays a pivotal role in how we position ourselves and our product for success across global markets. While we already have a Product Marketing function in place, this is our first leadership role at this level – an opportunity to take an existing team and elevate it into a truly world-class discipline.
You will bring clarity, structure, and direction to a function that is ready for our next phase of growth. By setting the vision and standards for excellence, you’ll ensure Product Marketing becomes a key driver of Phorest’s success – partnering with Product, Marketing, and Sales to ensure our story resonates deeply with salon owners everywhere.
You and your team will be responsible for overall positioning and messaging for our core product as well as new features and improvements. You’ll build a culture of constant customer connection, ensuring insights from the salon floor directly inform how we tell our story. Using customers’ own words, you’ll articulate the value of our work – clearly explaining the problems we solve, why they matter, and how we stand apart from the competition.
Most importantly, you are a people-first leader who achieves all this by coaching, enabling, and inspiring talented Product Marketers – locally in our regional markets and centrally at HQ. You thrive on marrying customer problems with new solutions, and on creating messaging that excites and empowers our customers, our teams, and the industry at large.
