A leading financial services firm is seeking a Head of Platform Product to define and execute the product strategy for its platform. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, ensuring outstanding client outcomes, and leading cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience in product management within a regulated environment and a strong understanding of the UK advisory market. About The Role Purpose As Head of Platform Product, you will define and execute the product strategy for 7IM's market‑leading Platform. Reporting to the Chief Value Officer and working closely with executive leadership, you will drive innovation, deliver outstanding client outcomes, and ensure our platform remains at the forefront of the industry. You will be part of both the Products & Marketing Leadership team and the Platform Business Leadership team. You will lead cross‑functional teams, champion a culture of continuous improvement, and represent the platform both internally and externally.
Set and communicate a compelling vision and roadmap for the 7IM Platform, aligned with business objectives and market trends, gaining agreement of the Platform Executive Leadership team. Inspire and develop a high‑performing team of Product Managers and Owners, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
Oversee the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from ideation and design to launch and in‑life management. Ensure all product initiatives are value‑led, client‑centric, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Collaborate with Technology, Experience Design, Transformation, and Data teams to deliver differentiated, scalable solutions.
Define and monitor KPIs to ensure the platform delivers superior client outcomes and meets regulatory requirements. Proactively identify and address risks, ensuring ongoing compliance and the highest standards of governance. Lead the development of business cases for new propositions and enhancements, engaging with Finance and Risk functions throughout.
Build strong relationships with clients, advisers, and strategic partners to inform product strategy and drive competitive advantage. Engage and manage third‑party agencies as required. Represent 7IM at industry forums and with external agencies, championing innovation and best practice.
Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement within the team. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies, ensuring 7IM remains a market leader.
