Our client, a rapidly growing technology organisation, urgently require an experienced Head of Operations to join their team on a permanent basis.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience :

• Experience as a Head of Operations or COO for a tech start up, is essential ideally within technology, defence, or security-related sectors
• Proven track record in building scalable, high-performance operational frameworks for innovative or fast-growth companies
• Understanding of regulatory and security compliance frameworks
• Skilled communicator and leader, able to work within a customer facing capacity
• Must be able to obtain SC Clearance (candidates with active SC will be prioritised)

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimise all aspects of company operations, including project delivery, resource management, logistics, and corporate governance
• Translate the CEO's strategic vision into actionable operational plans, metrics, and outcomes
• Establish and oversee delivery frameworks to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations
• Implement and refine operational systems that support scale
• Direct operational compliance with UK Government, Defence, and industry security standards
• Manage supplier relationships, commercial contracts, and internal support functions (HR, IT, Finance, Facilities) to ensure cohesive performance
• Lead business continuity and resilience planning
• Develop, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams, embedding a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational discipline
• Act as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to corporate strategy and growth initiatives
