Are you a hands-on operations leader ready to make a real impact? We're looking for an experienced Head of Operations to drive production, supply chain, and site operations at a growing, international manufacturing business.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll take ownership of day-to-day operations while leading improvements in efficiency, quality, and output. This role is a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on involvement—ideal for someone who enjoys being on the factory floor as much as in the boardroom.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading production, warehouse, and supply chain activities.
• Overseeing daily manufacturing, ensuring products are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
• Driving continuous improvement across efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Managing supplier relationships, stock control, and logistics.
• Coaching and developing a multi-skilled team, fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Supporting business growth through KPI development, cost control, and system improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in operations or production management within SME manufacturing.
• A hands-on leader who can roll up their sleeves to solve problems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (bottle filling, chemicals, hand packing, or consumables experience a plus).
• Supply chain and inventory management expertise.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with lean/continuous improvement methodologies (desirable).
