Job description

Our clients are leading UK & European events company specialising in large-scale music and destination experiences. From sell-out club nights to multi-day festivals in iconic overseas locations.

Independent, founder-led, and currently generating £3.5–4m in revenue, they’re entering a major scale‑up phase with bold plans for the next few years.

They’re now looking for a Head of Marketing to build the strategic and operational engine that takes them to the next level.

The Role

This is a defining leadership role where you’ll own the marketing strategy for the full events portfolio - particularly the 12‑month campaigns for high‑ticket destination experiences.

You’ll bring structure, clarity and senior direction to a committed marketing function and directly manage two Marketing Managers (one creative/content‑focused, one generalist). Your job is to elevate their work, sharpen processes, and create a unified, data‑led approach that drives consistent, high‑value ticket sales.

It’s a hybrid role: part strategic leader, part hands‑on operator. One day you’ll be setting direction with the senior team; the next you’ll be improving a CRM journey, reviewing paid creative, or troubleshooting a conversion drop‑off.

Your mission: turn huge audience passion into predictable, scalable revenue.

What you’ll own:
  • Full marketing strategy & planning across all events, with the support and input of the marketing team.

  • 12‑month campaign leadership for the flagship destination shows.

  • Performance marketing & paid media, working with external ads partner.

  • CRM & lifecycle strategy, including segmentation, journeys, rebooking and loyalty.

  • Audience insights, positioning & messaging across multiple markets.

  • Website performance & conversion, with tech partners.

  • Clear data, reporting & forecasting for the senior team.

  • Brand, storytelling & content direction across all channels.

  • Team leadership: line‑managing and developing two Marketing Managers.

Who you are:
  • Senior marketer, ideally with experience in live events, festivals, music, travel, hospitality, entertainment or a high‑growth B2C brand.

  • Proven track record owning revenue/lead targets and helping scale a business from ~£4–5m towards £10m+

  • Deep knowledge of paid digital, CRM/lifecycle marketing and funnel optimisation.

  • Comfortable running long, multi‑phase campaigns (6–12 months).

  • Highly data‑literate and commercially sharp.

  • Strong project manager with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Hands‑on and adaptable; thrives in founder‑led environments where you help build structure as you go.

  • A natural people leader: supportive, clear, organised and energising.

💸 Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 DOE
