A dynamic organization in the United Kingdom is looking for a Head of ER & Employee Experience to lead their HR function across a national workforce of about 1,000 colleagues. You will drive initiatives that enhance employee experience while ensuring compliance and alignment of HR operations. The role offers significant autonomy and visibility in a high-growth environment, with hybrid working options requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office in Leeds.
We’re recruiting a forward-thinking Head of ER & Employee Experience to lead a values-driven HR partnering function across a multi-site, national workforce of c.1,000 colleagues. In a fast-paced, resilient and PE-backed environment, you’ll shape a consistent, fair and positive employee experience while strengthening leadership capability across all sites.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, and working closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition & Development, you’ll ensure HR operations, ER, culture and development activity are aligned to deliver a seamless employee journey.
A proactive HR partnering service that drives performance and supports leaders
High-quality, consistent ER practice, including oversight of complex cases
Policy development aligned with legislation, safeguarding and organisational values
Employee experience, engagement and wellbeing initiatives with strong employee voice
Integration of HR and L&D activity to build manager capability
Compliance across DBS, right-to-work, data integrity and workforce reporting
Experience leading HR partnering in multi-site, complex environments
Strong expertise in employee relations, including high-risk cases
Ability to influence senior leaders and build manager confidence
Background in engagement, wellbeing or culture development
Robust employment law knowledge and CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent)
