Job Title: Head of Hospitality & Events

Location: Gogarburn, Edinburgh

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Newly created position to head up the hospitality, events & hotel on site at one of our leading nationwide contracts. Based in Gogarburn, this role will oversee all levels of events and hospitality across the estate, overseeing a team of around 15 within a larger team of 40 employees. Mainly Monday to Friday but spread across daytime and evening shifts depending on functions and events. Occasional weekend work when required. Beautiful location and setting!!

Job Description

• Lead, inspire, collaborate and support your direct reports to deliver consistently exceptional standards
• Build positive, credible and collaborative relationships & communication methods with clients and other key stakeholders in the business
• Continually look to develop your team through mentoring, training, recognition, and empowerment
• Create a culture of excellence with your team, continually striving to push the boundaries of brilliance through natural caring service, obsessive food standards and innovation

Qualifications

• Previous experience within high end hospitality & events
• Background in well known 4 or 5 star hotels
• General management level in event catering or hospitality led contract catering.

• Financially astute, you are very analytical and know how to create and maintain budgets and drive commercial performance
