To get there, we’re growing our central food and beverage team, focusing on product development and procurement, but also investing in areas such as marketing, operating standards and environmental practice.

Please note this role is based in our Head Office in Swindon and appointed candidates will need to base themselves from here 2/3 days per week.

What you'll be doing

As our Head ofFood Sourcingyou will be accountable for setting the direction of our varied supply chain from artisan to national wholesalers and everything in between. Leading and developing a team of sourcing managers and supply chain experts you’ll look for efficiencies and opportunities to improve. Developing a strategy that ensures that fully integrates and supports sustainable sourcing and land management practices.

Who we're looking for
  • Excellent financial acumen with a working knowledge of P&L
  • A membership with the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS)
  • Extensive knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes within multisite food and beverage operations
  • Working knowledge of negotiation, contract law, forecasting and competitor analysis
  • Proven experience of creating and implementing business processes
