A major retail company in Nottingham seeks a Head of Finance - RTR for leading the month-end closing processes across various departments. The role requires a qualified accountant with strong leadership and analytical skills to manage a diverse team and collaborate with cross-functional departments. This position offers a significant chance to drive strategic finance transformation and ensure compliance with SOX control requirements while providing mentorship and leadership to the finance team.

Reporting into the Record-to-report Tower Lead, within Finance Digital Operations the Head of Finance - RTR (Retail and Cost) is a high-profile and commercially-facing role. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate month end close process across Retail (sales and costs) and Inventory across several entities in The Boots Group. The role provides a fantastic opportunity to lead a large and diverse team and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the business, along with leading key business initiatives and delivering transformation in line with the RTR Strategic Roadmap.
