Head of Finance Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical Some Hybrid Working Manchester

An exciting opportunity to join a specialist Manufacturing business in Manchester, looking for a commercially astute Head of Finance to lead their UK finance function. This is a hands-on, leadership role with full ownership of financial operations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Driving financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Developing and mentoring the finance team
• Supporting margin improvement, cost control, and performance tracking
• Overseeing cash flow, treasury, and liquidity
• Managing standard costing and variance analysis
• Ensuring full compliance across tax, payroll, and internal controls
• Partnering with senior leadership on strategic business initiatives

Qualifications

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience within Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical
• An understanding of a multi group environment.
• A strong grasp of operational and commercial finance
• The ability to influence cross-functionally and lead teams effectively
• Hands on approach with an eye for continuous improvement
