4-Day Working Week (4DWW)

At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance -- and we’re putting wellbeing first. We’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit.

That said, many of our schools have already introduced 4DWW, and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now's the perfect time to join #teamOFG.

About the Role

In this exciting position, you will lead the planning and delivery of English lessons and support learning across the wider curriculum. Differentiation and individualised learning strategies are central to meeting the needs of pupils with diverse educational experiences. You will have the freedom to develop creative and engaging lessons that inspire and motivate our young people. With access to high-quality teaching rooms and vocational facilities, your imagination will be the only limit to what you can achieve.

At Westbourne, teachers are encouraged to take a creative and innovative approach, working collaboratively with support staff to ensure lessons are engaging, effective, and tailored to each pupil. You will be responsible for setting clear vision and targets for pupil success, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of responsibility and pride in learning. Experience delivering phonics is a plus, and a willingness to embrace innovative teaching methods is highly valued.

Who we are looking for

We seek a passionate and committed professional who values both academic achievement and the social and emotional development of pupils. You will support pupils to become confident, capable, and responsible citizens who can positively contribute to their communities. A strong understanding of SEMH and ASD is essential to form meaningful relationships and adapt to pupils' needs. We are looking for someone with determination, resilience, and a genuine passion for professional growth and excellence in teaching.
