The role

BMLL Technologies, the leading provider of harmonised historical market data and analytics for capital markets, is seeking a dynamic Head of Digital Marketing to direct and manage our digital marketing strategy and programme. This key role will set the digital marketing strategy and drive the programme to support our company’s growth through expanded brand awareness and increased lead generation as we continue to democratise high quality historical data across global markets.

Targeting financial institutions, including investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds and exchanges, this role requires a blend of financial / fintech industry knowledge, technical digital marketing expertise, and leadership to build brand awareness, brand preference and lead generation to drive growth in a highly complex and regulated sector.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be an experienced digital marketeer, with a results‑driven track record, who combines creativity for campaign origination, with the grit required to build programmes from the ground up, effectively influence stakeholders across BMLL, and the leadership skills to inspire and lead team members.

Core responsibilities
  • Strategic domain leadership: Develop and execute an integrated, multi‑channel digital marketing strategy that aligns with overall business objectives for brand awareness, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Campaign management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns across channels, including SEO, PPC, email, digital advertising, and social media. This requires creativity to cut through the industry’s digital noise.
  • Team leadership: Manage and mentor a digital marketing executive. Ensure the team is aligned with business goals and continues to innovate.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and ROI, and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, sales, product teams, and external agencies to ensure cohesive and compliant marketing efforts.
  • Budget management: Oversee and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation for maximum impact.
