Information about the school

Herne Bay High School is a large hugely successful Single Academy Trust that serves the Herne Bay coastal area of North Kent. We have a comprehensive intake and are significantly oversubscribed in all year groups and in June 2022 Ofsted rated the school good with an Outstanding 6th form provision. While academic rigour and examination success is at the forefront of our development, we passionately believe that a broad, balanced approach to education is important and as such we place great emphasis on the Creative and Performing Arts, Technology, and Sport as a key part of a young person’s early educational journey. Herne Bay High School is also a champion of collaborative practice.

Note: Safeguarding Commitment: At Herne Bay High, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. As such, all applicants will be required to undergo comprehensive child protection screening, including checks with past employers, the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS), and Barred List Checks.
