A leading organic food brand in Greater London is seeking a Head of Content to drive its social media strategy and brand storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent copywriting skills, and a passion for sustainability. This role offers a salary of £60,000 to £75,000 and a hybrid working model with three days in the office and two days remote, making it a perfect opportunity for a creative leader looking to make an impact.
Borough Broth began in 2015 with a simple idea: make proper, organic bone broth the way it should be made. Everything we cook is slow simmered using high quality British ingredients from farmers who care about their land. Our broths are wholesome, flavourful and convenient without cutting corners on nutrition or quality.
We are proud to be a certified B Corp, and we put purpose at the heart of what we do. Our founder, Ros, is also a mentor for Ocado’s Roots programme, helping support the next generation of sustainable food brands.
At Borough Broth, we believe good food should do good too. Every broth we make is crafted with care, supporting local farmers and nourishing our community.
As Head of Content, you will lead how Borough Broth shows up and speaks to the world across social channels, storytelling, and community building. You will take ownership of our brand’s creative and strategic direction on social media, shaping how we engage, inspire, and grow our community.
This is a hands‑on role for a content leader who can balance creativity with strategy, someone who can craft brilliant ideas and also set a clear vision for what great looks like. You will define our tone of voice, oversee all social storytelling, and bring our brand to life in ways that build genuine connection and brand fame.
You will manage a small in‑house team of content creators, including a videographer and editor and a community manager, while collaborating cross‑functionally with PR, CRM, and our website teams to ensure a consistent brand story. For bigger campaigns, you will work with trusted agencies and freelancers, always with an eye on quality, creativity, and authenticity. The rest of the marketing team has a Marketing Director, Brand Manager and a Senior Marketing Manager.
You will thrive in this role if you are a creative leader with a strategic mind, someone who can turn ideas into beautiful, meaningful stories that resonate. You are as confident writing a post as you are shaping a campaign, and you are energised by the idea of building a standout food brand with purpose.
