A leading hotel and restaurant in Ludlow is seeking a passionate Head Chef to lead their kitchen team. This role involves taking ownership of kitchen operations, menu creation, and ensuring high culinary standards. Candidates should have proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef, strong leadership skills, and a keen knowledge of food safety regulations. The Head Chef role is a great opportunity for a passionate Head Chef or Sous Chef to join and lead the team. Our Head Chef will take ownership of the kitchen and run it your way and work with our team to deliver quality food. Our Head Chef will have passion and commitment to delivering quality, be confident in managing and leading a kitchen to ensure the preparation & production of food to a high standard. You will have the autonomy to create a vision to inspire the kitchen brigade. As Head Chef you will lead the kitchen in producing a memorable food experience, ensure all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards are adhered to. You will have a passion for quality and service, have exceptional organisational skills and be able to work using your own initiative. You will ensure that stock is controlled, ordering is managed and that food costs are met whilst creating a harmonised working environment. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for menu creation, food preparation, kitchen management, and ensuring high culinary standards. You will oversee kitchen staff, maintain hygiene and safety regulations, and work closely with hotel management to enhance the food and beverage offering.
