This is a great opportunity to work for a very successful nationwide company operating in-house catering for large groups.

The menus are all core to spec and the positions will ideally suit contract catering chefs - schools, colleges and military facilities where meals and menus are cooked in bulk.

A massive bonus is that you will work sensible hours (40 hours a week) with few evenings and regular weekends off.

As the Head Chef you will lead the team in all areas of food production, work closely with the catering manager, and take full responsibility for all aspects of kitchen management.

Role - Head Chef
  • Lead the daily operation of the kitchen, you will be hands on.
  • Manage the GP, labour and all costs and budgets.
  • Recruit, train, develop and lead your team.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage stock orders
  • Manage the cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.
