Job summary

A training organization in Bolton is seeking an enthusiastic Hairdressing Teacher to deliver City & Guilds Level 1 and Level 2 Hairdressing and Creative Beauty qualifications. The successful candidate will deliver training, support learners in achieving their maximum potential, and motivate them to overcome barriers to progression. Ideal candidates will hold relevant teaching qualifications and have a Level 3 qualification in the specialist subject.

Qualifications

  • A level 4 or 5 teaching qualification is required.
  • GCSE English, Maths, and ICT or equivalent at level 2 or above.
  • A Level 3 qualification in the specialist subject or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training to learners on Study and SFA programme.
  • Plan and assess to acquire recognised qualifications.

Who are we looking for?

Nacro Services in Bolton is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Hairdressing Teacher to assist in the delivery of their Study Programme to deliver City & Guilds Level 1 and Level 2 Hairdressing & Creative Beauty Qualifications.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :
  • Deliver training to learners on our Study and SFA programme ensuring they all reach their maximum potential.
  • Deliver training, planning and assessment to acquire recognised qualifications and to support young people into employment or further learning.
  • Enhancing the learning experience of our learners and enabling them to achieve high levels across ability range, as well as motivating learners to overcome personal barriers to progression.
As a successful candidate you should have :
  • A level 4 teaching qualification (Certificate in Education & Training, CTLLS, or an equivalent qualification)
  • OR
  • A level 5 teaching qualification (Diploma in Education & Training, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or an equivalent qualification)
  • AND
  • GCSE English, maths and ICT (or equivalent qualifications at level 2 or above)
  • AND
  • A Level 3 vocational or academic qualification in your specialist subject (or equivalent experience)
