Job summary

Candidates should be HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists with a Masters level education and specialist experience in Haematology/Transfusion. The position is full-time, requiring commitment to out-of-hours service coverage.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists with experience in Biochemistry and related disciplines.
• Experience in adhering to local and national guidelines such as quality and training is required.
• Ability to engage with the implementation of new LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maximizing service provision and ensuring a safe and effective service.
• Engage with the team for ISO 15189 accreditation maintenance.
• Participate in out of hours service provision.
